EVENT RULES

Catch as catch can wrestling matches:
The catch as catch can wrestling matches will have a 15 minute time limit. As opposed to a folkstyle pin we will move to a 5 second pin so competitors have an opportunity to work out of a pin or reverse. No holds will be barred on submissions ie neck cranks, leg locks, toe holds will all be allowed. Small joint manipulation, hair pulling, groin striking and eye gouging are prohibited. Intentional head butting will not be allowed however utilizing your head in a submission is permitted eg. Bulgarian headlocks are permitted. The referee will determine what constitutes an intentional headbut. If no winner is determined after 15 minutes a 5 minute overtime will commence. If no one wins during the overtime the match will be declared a draw. No points system will be observed.

Boxer versus wrestler matches:
MMA gloves must be worn. Punching is allowed on your feet. Kicking, kneeing and elbowing are not allowed. Punching is only permitted if an opponent is standing. A match can be won by ko, submission or 5 count pinfall as in the catch as catch can matches. The match will consist of 3 5 minute rounds. If no winner is declared after the 3rd round a 3 minute overtime round will commence. If there is still no winner the match will be declared a draw.
