American Combat Association

American Combat Association's parter/owner and official grappling instructor Kamal Shalorus was the featured guest Monday on The Voice of America's Persian Network.  The broadcast was seen live in Iran and other countries and was broadcast live worldwide via satellite and on the internet.  "It was a great honor to the the guest on this network.  It is the most popular network in Iran.  My mother saw the broadcast live and called me right away saying that I was on television and everyone in my country saw me" Kamal told us.  Kamal was interviewed on his international and olympic wrestling career and his undefeated career in mixed martial arts.  Kamal is already well known in his native Iran as a former national freestyle wrestling champion.  Iran and Russia are widely considered to produce the greatest wrestlers in the world and Kamal is from an area of northern Iran called the Red Zone.  The Red Zone of Iran and Russia are considered to be the epicenter of the cream on the crop in International wrestling.  We thank Arash Arahabi and the Voice of America for featuring the Prince of Persia on their network.
